Professional experience and career objectives: Rajendran Parthiban completed his Bachelor of Engineering with first class honours in 1997, and his PhD in optical networks in 2004 from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne from 2004 to 2005. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer at Monash University, Sunway Campus, Malaysia.
